President’s Corner, Spring

The National Association of County Administrators (NACA) is committed to connecting county professionals across the nation, advancing the profession and promoting the council-manager form of government. NACA is working closely with our partners at ICMA, NACo, LGHN, and other professional associations committed to high quality service in local government. At our core, we exist to provide our members with learning and networking opportunities that meet the ever changing needs of our profession, our organizations and our communities.

We hope to see you in person at our upcoming meetings and conference sessions. We are planning great content at the NACo Annual Conference in Adams County, Colorado from July 20-24, as well as at the ICMA Annual Conference in Franklin County, Ohio from September 17-21. We encourage you to join us for our NACA Executive Board meeting and Idea Exchange at these conferences. We will also have sessions focusing on creating cultures of innovation in county government, talent development and management, commissioner-administrator relationships, and investments in equity.

Thank you for the honor and privilege to serve as the NACA President, and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Steve Mokrohisky
County Administrator
