NACA has partnered with the Alliance for Innovation for its Govapalooza conference March 1-5, 2021.
A truly historic event, TLG Govapalooza will bring together thousands of elected officials, appointed leaders, department heads, local government employees, academics, students, business executives, nonprofit partners, and committed individuals to engage in an incredible celebration of the very best in local government.
Stephen Wozniak, Apple Inc co-founder, is one of the keynote speakers, as well as Rebecca Ryan, a renown economist and futurist. There’s a definite focus on innovation and creativity in local government for this event, and we feel this is an exciting time to explore all that this conference will offer as we transition into 2021.

How to Fail (Forward) – Fostering Cultures of Innovation in Local Government
Monday, 10:00 – 11:30 AM PT
NACA will host the Centre for Public Impact in an interactive workshop. We’ll come togethter with a network of like-minded government officials that are emboldened to nurture cultures of experimentation in their workplaces. We will introduce the Fail Forward program more broadly, then share out the findings from the work and provide opportunity for audience questions. The most interactive part of the workshop will be in small breakout groups, in which participants will discuss their own experiences with learning from failure and experimentation and work together to brainstorm strategies to improve their abilities to do so.
