Managers will discuss how local governments are balancing public safety needs and community concerns.
This panel session will take a look behind the curtain of conversations between Managers and Elected Officials. With a high level of trust and vulnerability, this panel will shed light on the dialogues that occur resulting from social unrest and social justice issues. Specifically, the panel will highlight how public safety needs and valid community concerns regarding societal equity and inclusion are held at the highest levels of local government.
